BLOWBACK (1991)

SYNOPSIS:

This underground black comedy is a volatile mixture of slapstick and politics sparked off in the face of authority. Conservative politicians, corrupt generals, and pedantic rehab counselors are just a few of the figures who catch flak in this iconoclastic satire.

Bruce McCarty stars as Owen Monroe, a fanatical CIA agent determined to serve God and country by staging a narcoterrorist attack on Miami. Only a seductive coke-fiend, a righteous renegade, and a prematurely detonated “Orgone” bomb stand in the way of his plans. With Craig Smith as Dr. Krack, a Dr. Strangelove for the health-crazed nineties, plotting world domination while ensconced in a vat of yogurt.
