OVERVIEW OF PROJECT | Set in the late1980’s, this is the story of the legendary Lo Lifes, the Brooklyn street crew that “boosted” designer labels from Manhattan department stores, made Polo their trademark and helped start the urban fashion phenomenon. From their creation to their demise, the Lo Lifes’ world of “Money, Hoes and Clothes” captures the genesis of the subversive hip-hop spirit in a totally original fashion.
