GODFATHERS AND SONS is Marc Levin’s film on Chicago blues, with Marshall Chess and Chuck D on a mission to bring the historic sound of Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and many others to a new generation.

GODFATHERS AND SONS premiered on PBS in October of 2003. The series is executive produced by Martin Scorsese. The seven hour series includes films by directors Wim Wenders, Clint Eastwood, Charles Burnett, Mike Figgis, Richard Pearce and Martin Scorsese.

Music and DVDs from the PBS series, The Blues, executive produced by Martin Scorsese, are now available at stores nationwide.
